The entry form for stop 5 of the Order of Merit is now online. This time the tour is on its way to 1st Bowl Scunthorpe for the Hull Memorial Trios on Saturday 26th January.
The tournament is a round robin qualifying round (over 5 games) with qualification achieved from finishing in the top 2 of the group with 2 best runner up places achieved through the highest handicap pinfall. The subsequent 8 teams then go into 2 groups of 4 and play a round robin (3 games) with the top 2 from each group qualifying for the semi-final. The sem-final and final are then in matchplay format to determine the champions.
Please note the following:
- This is a handicap mixed division event (students and ex-students together)
- Student teams must come from the same institution
- There are 9 spots for students and 9 spots for ex-students. In the event of over subscription, equal entitlement applies
- The closing date is Saturday 12th January and all monies will be required by this time. Entries can be submitted to Craig Harmon on treasurer@butba.co.uk (NOTE: New email address). In the event of a team pulling out after the closing deadline, they will still be liable for the entry fee due to fund allocation.
